Rehana Younis is one of our members at Spenborough Pool & Fitness Complex and has shared her story with us on achieving her 20kg weight loss.
“I started my journey to a ‘healthier me’ in late February this year. For as long as I remember I have always been big however, it became a serious health issue in February and I decided I had to change. I joined KAL and initially came every day (now 6 times a week).
My workout routine always incorporates cardio and weights as I feel these are the best way to not only become fitter but to lose weight as well. I have come a long way from asking Emma Ingham whether the cardio for beginner’s workshop was ‘really for beginners?’ (I was dying), to now running consistently as my go to cardio session. I have lost just over 20kg and there’s more to go. I must admit it’s falling off slower now.
The team at KAL are super supportive and I certainly wouldn’t have got here without them.
