As we do every week here are some ways you can incorporate the 5 ways to wellbeing into your week.
Monday – Connect
Vulnerability is something that a lot of people are not comfortable being as there seems to be fear attached to it or it can be confused with weakness. However, to make meaningful connections (in all relationships) sometimes it is necessary to be brave and show some vulnerability & equally to be respectful of other people’s when it is shown to you.

Tuesday – Get Active
Due to gyms remaining closed we have all been getting outdoors more for our daily exercise and therefore it might be that you’re starting to get bored of your well-trodden routes.
It can be hard to find new routes, especially if you’re new to an area or want o travel farther afield. This blog lists the 6 best walking apps for British & Irish walks to help you discover some new paths.
Wednesday – Give
As lockdown eases for most people there are still people who feel vulnerable or who are shielding who you could support. Could you pop to the shops of them or support them in a different way, especially people who may be on their own.
Taking an hour out of your day could make a huge difference to someone else’s!
Thursday – Keep learning
At the beginning of lockdown did you commit to learning a language? Have you kept up to it? If not then why not give it a go. Even a few simple phrases can make life easier when you travel.
Learning a new skill is also a great self esteem boost and you will get that lovely sense of achievement.
Friday – Take notice
We have covered the benefits of meditation in a number of our newsletters & on our social channels.
However, we appreciate knowing where to start can be really difficult and it can take a while to feel the benefit.
Headspace is a free app which offer introductory courses into meditation so you can see if it’s for you. Why not start by reading their tips and give it a try.
