Here is another plan for how you can incorporate the 5 Ways to Wellbeing into your week.
Monday - Connect
Why not have a movie night!
Even though you still can’t go to the cinema or invite friends into your home to watch a film, that doesn’t mean you can’t have a movie night together.
- Have a Netflix Party – it’s a plug-in that allows you to stream the film at the same time, and pause it if you need to. It also has a chat window so you can all chip in and chat while you’re watching.
- Or start a film at the same time and have a shared WhatsApp group for everyone to comment in.
This can really give a sense of occasion to a Friday night!

Wednesday - Give
Research suggests that acts of giving and Kindness can help improve your mental wellbeing
Try and help others once a day for a week and see if it makes a difference to how you feel.
You can find some great some suggestions from the Mental Health Foundation Kindness guide to help you out.
Thursday - Keep Learning
Learning new skills can give you a sense of achievement and a new confidence.
Go online and check out TED for thousands of short, powerful talks delivered by world’s leading thinkers and doers. Watch one talk on a topic that interests you.
Friday - Take Notice
Empathy- being empathetic is about taking notice and understanding how another person is feeling even if they are in a situation that you haven’t experienced yourself.
How well do you feel and understand what others are feeling?
Take the Empathy Personality Test to find out how well you relate to other people. Are you super sensitive or lacking in empathy?
